The Lovers are frequently associated with romance, but other meanings include union, "bringing together," and even "making choices!" The ATA hopes you'll make the choice to join us. The larger the ATA, the more opportunities we'll have to serve, aid, and unify the Tarot community.

Membership has its privileges.

Joining the ATA is a great way to gain access to a community of professionals and enthusiasts who share your interest in Tarot. As a member, you'll receive:

The ATA Quarterly. Members receive a copy of the ATA Quarterly, a fantastic publication packed with informative articles, deck reviews, spreads, and much more! The ATA Quarterly is available only to ATA members. A sample issue is available for download.

Mission Statement:
The American Tarot Association is a professional and social organization for Tarot enthusiasts, students, scholars, and readers. We promote the study and appreciation of Tarot by supporting a variety of educational programs. We require a high level of ethics in Tarot readings by asking our members to agree to our published code of ethics.

Discounts on our great Tarot courseware. Members receive discounts of up to 25% on our exclusive ATA courseware. In addition, we offer several correspondence courses which are exclusively available to ATA members. You can't get these great educational resources anywhere else ... at any price! Find out more.

Experience reading for others. Members may participate in the highly popular Free Tarot Network and Free Reading Network. Both programs offer great opportunities to build your reading skills and work with experienced mentors! Get the details.

Discounted conference fees. Never pay full price again! ATA members receive substantial discounts on membership fees for any ATA-sponsored conference, including regional, national, and virtual conferences!

Access to members-only discussion groups. Members have the option of participating in private, email-based discussion groups. These provide a great opportunity to interact with other members ... and hear about ATA events before  anyone else!

Special discounts from partner organizations. You'll save money whenever you rent a car from Hertz, for example! We're constantly on the lookout for ways you can put your ATA membership to good use.

YourName@ata-tarot.com. Members may request an ata-tarot.com email alias. Once in place, any email sent to YourName@ata-tarot.com will be forwarded automatically to a pre-existing email address you specify. Unfortunately we are not able to forward email to AOL addresses at this time, so please have an alternate available.

What does membership cost?

Join for multiple years ... or elect to receive your ATA Quarterly electronically (instead of the printed version) ... and you'll receive substantial discounts on membership fees! Whichever plan you choose, you'll have full access to all the benefits outlined above.

NETWORKS-ONLY OPTIONS

The ATA maintains two networks which provide free readings for the general public; ATA members may choose to gain practical reading experience by working with these networks. (More information about the networks is available on our Readings page.)

The Networks Only option is a budget-priced option specifically designed for those who want to gain reading experience on our networks, but who do not wish to take advantage of other ATA benefits and programs. This level of membership allows an individual to read for others on the Free Tarot Network and Free Reading Network only; it does not provide any of the other benefits associated with the Standard Membership Options.

Online Enrollment. Through our affiliation with PayPal, you can pay membership fees using your credit card or funds from your PayPal account. With Online Enrollment, you can complete the online enrollment form and become a member as quickly as possible! (You may also purchase course materials as part of the same transaction.) Use payment@ata-tarot.com for the PayPal recipient.

Join by Mail. If you prefer, you may print an HTML, Microsoft Word, or .PDF version of our membership application. Fill it out, make out a check or money order to the American Tarot Association, and send it to us at ATA, 2901 Richmond Rd Ste 130 #123, Lexington, KY 40509-1763. (Visa and MasterCard also accepted; to use your credit card information, please include your name, card number and expiration date in the mailing, or call us at toll-free at 800-372-1524 with this information.)

Join by Fax. You can always print the HTML, Microsoft Word, or .PDF version of our membership application and fax it to us at 800-331-7787. If you do, you'll still need to send payment to us at ATA, 2901 Richmond Rd Ste 130 #123, Lexington, KY 40509-1763. (Visa and MasterCard also accepted; to use your credit card information, please include your name, card number and expiration date in the fax, or call us at toll-free at 800-372-1524 with this information.)

Join by Phone. You can call us toll-free at 800-372-1524. We'll be glad to take your registration information over the phone. You may then send payment to us at ATA, 2901 Richmond Rd Ste 130 #123, Lexington, KY 40509-1763, or simply give us your Visa or MasterCard info over the phone.

Join by Email. Send us your membership info via email, then follow up with a check to ATA, 2901 Richmond Rd Ste 130 #123, Lexington, KY 40509-1763. If you plan to pay your membership fees by credit card, for security reasons, we do not recommend you include Visa or MasterCard information in an email. Please fax it to us at 800-331-7787, or call us toll-free at 800-372-1524 to charge your membership fees over the phone.
